Everyone's favourite Saab killer saviour and purveyor of shiny, shiny supercars is back in business. Sort of.
Spyker had been in the equivalent of chapter 11 (a 'moratorium of payment') until the administrator looked at the debts, then at the money coming in, and shuttered the shop in December. Turns out that trying to run an F1 team and rescuing Saab requires the sale of a lot of Spykers.
Spyker's irrepressible boss, Victor Muller, didn't agree with the bankruptcy, and sued. He has somehow magiced some money from somewhere, won the case, and Spyker is back in ... chapter 11. From which it'll emerge "in a matter of weeks" .
After that, it'll launch the B6 Venator, merge with a "US based manufacturer of high performance electric aircraft", make all-electric Spykers and generally transform Victor Muller into Elon Musk.

Spyker is one of those rare companies where the vehicles are so amazing, it doesn't matter how the handle the company to me.

I've read this in Autovisie/Telegraaf as well this morning. But I'm not a believer when it comes to Victor Muller: it's only a matter of time before his financial resource (they just 'got' 4,3 million transferred to their account) proves to be doubtful. And electrifying the sportscar scene: I guess it's just too soon for this to happen ( Venturi Fetish ?).
